A Head of Quality and Improvement is required by this leading UK Financial Services organisation to join this growing, changing department.
Managing a team of 50 through direct reports it is essential for the successful candidate role to have a Financial Services background and will most likely come from a Senior Operations, Project Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Quality or Audit role where they have been involved in Continuous Improvement strategy and investigations.
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead and deliver the quality assurance brief on behalf of the Operations team nationally
• Responsible for improving / maintaining the control environment across the country via identification of route causes
• Identify the route causes for failures
• Lead the work with Continuous Improvement, regional operations & other teams to support actions to resolve/mitigate/introduce process improvement
The successful individual will have:
• Worked in the complexity of a large Financial Services organisation either recently or currently
• Held one or more senior operations and project management roles in the last 5 years
• May have held a risk management, compliance or Audit role
• Managed stakeholders at a senior level
• Managing Risk Control Assessments
• Managing audit actions & issues assurance activity
• Managing a geographically spread field team
