JOB SUMMARY
We are working with this very successful organisation who have recently identified the requirement for an MI Production Manager to come in to the business to play a key role in maintaining high quality standards with accurate and timely delivery of all reports to the business. Liaising with their customers to ensure all relevant information is being provided and ensuring customers are receiving a high level of service. They will also be responsible for the management of their staff, ensuring they meet delivery requirements whilst focusing on their development.
The candidate will bring strong SQL Server 2005/2008 Development skills, from a management information or an information analysis environment. Ideally possessing previous experience of SSIS and SQL server reporting services. In addition They will also require solid analytical and problem solving skills, using SQL and Excel to build and maintain KPI data.
THE ROLE
· Ability to interpret business requirements and formulate design specification.
· Successful design, development, and implementation of new reports.
· Using a structured and managed approach throughout the project life cycle.
· Use standard programming techniques and conventions.
· Experience in managing small to large IT projects.
· Look for opportunities to drive the business forward through the development of datasets and reporting.
· Extract data from company core systems to build KPI data.
· Design and management of the production of reports that present management information in a manner most appropriate to its users
· Educate and explain KPI’s and call centre statistics and dynamics to all levels of staff and challenge requirements where necessary.
· Management of the MI Production Team, to effectively support the team in the production of all MI.
· Analysis of contact centre performance and suggested solutions or required changes.
· Ensure failsafe and backups for all reporting processes so that no one report is reliant on individual knowledge or attendance.
· Understand call drivers and systems, identify issues, drive solutions.
· Develop systems and methodologies that drive efficiency without need for intensive workload management.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· T-SQL.
· SQL Server Reporting Services.
· MS Excel.
· User requirements specification and report design experience.
· People management
· Web Development.
· Business Objects.
· Experience using ACD technology.
· Creates documentation to aid in others' learning.
· Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing.
SALARY DETAILS
£25,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
