THE COMPANY:

This is truly a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward thinking company that delivers on putting the customer at the heart of its business. This client is a leading insurance provider and is looking for an experienced Contact Centre Sales Manager.

MAIN DUTIES:

You will be accountable for all aspects of their performance and development and for the success of the operational day-to-day running of the Business Unit.

- Establish and communicate a clear course for achieving the current year’s business plan.
- Build and maintain a sales organisation within which everyone sees themselves as working in partnership with the customer, gaining insights which deliver revenue growth and increase customer lifetime value.
- Maintain a values-based performance management framework which ensures sales associates and sales team leaders are managed, coached and developed to their full potential.
- Ensure the recruitment, training and retention of staff so that all sales campaigns and activities are resourced effectively, according to the current year’s business plan.
- Monitor, measure, chart and analyse sales results and make timely adjustments which ensure consistent, predictable sales performance.
- Manage relationships with offshore partners - within agreed contractual obligations and service level agreements.
- Manage all multi-channel sales processes and ensure they remain ‘fit for purpose’ – delivering high levels of sales productivity, at least cost.
- Liaise with Marketing and Distribution teams to ensure sales campaigns are planned, communicated and executed so that required results are delivered at appropriate cost.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

- Delivering excellent results through people in a contact centre environment – able to initiate and deliver positive change through a proactive coaching style
- Ideally having experienced a span of control of circa 100 people
- Understanding of inbound/outbound telemarketing industry
- Understanding of automated diallers and call blending systems
- Analytical management within inbound and outbound sales environments
- Insurance industry awareness
- Forecasting and planning
- Creation and management of operational budgets
- Knowledge of sales processes and techniques
- Initiating and delivering positive change
- Successful employee engagement and retention
- High levels of KPI achievement in a sales environment
- Good written and spoken English

SALARY & LOCATION DETAILS

£50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits + Car + Bonus
